The Adventures of NanaCat and her Children – Someone New is a wonderful story that teaches readers the even when mothers and fathers can’t take care of their children, others can provide love and a happy home for them.  When the children find a baby bird without a mother or father, they run to NanaCat and together they decide to care for the baby bird.  The children learn how to welcome “Someone New” with a safe, secure and comfortable place.  They discover the importance of caring for those who are alone or abandoned – and most of all about the healing powers of love.  NanaCat’s family happily anticipates caring for “Chirpy” – providing a strong foundation and loving environment – until she is grown and ready to fly off on her own adventures!

This book is the second in a series written specifically for children being raised by grandparents and other relatives.  It is a delight for all ages and easily communicates the fact that although sometimes children face hardships, there are people here to step in and care for them… because “Everyone needs love!”
